Bangladeshi Actor Jashim whose full name is Abul Khayer Jashim Uddin. He was born on 14 August 1950 in the village of Boxnagar in the Nawabganj Upazila of the then East Pakistan (now called Bangladesh).And later died of a Brain Haemorrhage on October 8, 1998. The popular actor was 48 years old at the time of his death.Jashim first married Bangladeshi film actress Sucharita and after their divorce, he married Purnima Sengupta's daughter actress Nasrin. Jashim has three sons named Ratul, Rahul, and Sami.
Bengali Actor Jashim Short Biography
Jashim started his film career in 1972 with the movie Devar Bangla. When action movies started in other countries, Jashim was the first to act in action movies in Bangladesh. Jashim is called the first Dhallywood action hero of Bangladeshi cinema.
Among his notable films are Lalu Mastan, Tiger, Dost Dushman, Bangla Nayak, Shami Keno Asami, and valobashar Ghor.
This hero of the Eighties still occupies a place in the minds of many people through his acting. With Shabana, the most popular actress since her arrival in the acting world, there are very few people who have not shed tears after watching Jasim and Shabana's films.
The story of the films at that time was as much about social and reality as it was about their performance. Jashim has also had a lot of success with actress Rozina. Jashim's last film was Banglar Nayok which was released in 1995, three years before his death.
Moreover, Jashim was a heroic freedom fighter. In 1971, he fought against the Pakistani aggressors led by Major Haider in Sector Two during the War of Independence.
